Telangana Pays Tribute to Armed Forces in ‘Operation Sindoor’ Commemoration hosted by ABRSM

Hyderabad, August 4th 2025 – In a stirring display of patriotism and national pride, the Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (ABRSM) organized a commemorative event titled “Saluting Our Heroes – Operation Sindoor” at the Engineering Staff College of India, Gachibowli. The event honoured the Indian armed forces for their precision-led response during Operation Sindoor, a counter-terror mission launched on May 7, 2025, following the brutal Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives.

Gracing the occasion, former Vice President of India, M. Venkaiah Naidu, called upon the youth of the nation to embrace patriotism as an enduring value, rather than a seasonal sentiment. “Nationalism is not a slogan but a way of life,” he stated, urging educational institutions to inculcate civic responsibility and pride in the nation among students.

Former DRDO Chairman Dr. G. Satheesh Reddy lauded the armed forces for the operational success of Sindoor, describing it as “a fine blend of strategic foresight and cutting-edge indigenous technology.” He underlined the significance of India’s growing self-reliance in defence and its role in modern warfare.

National Joint Organising Secretary of ABRSM, Guntha Laxman emphasized the organization’s commitment to integrating national values into the educational framework. “Our mission is to ensure that education not only empowers but also inspires – with duty, discipline, and dedication to the nation at its core,” he said.

The event brought together academicians, defence experts, and students, serving as a solemn reminder of the sacrifices made by India’s armed forces and the continued importance of national unity and resilience in the face of adversity.
